INICIADOS: LA PLAZUELA
Indio and Nitro first met in a classroom in Granada when they were just three years old. La Plazuela was the storage room of Nitro’s grandmother apartment building, where they would casually gather to play music and hang out with friends over beers on weekends. La portera, the building’s janitor, was cool with them, so she allowed their casual jam sessions and even gave them the keys.
In La Plazuela’s music, flamenco, electronic, nu funk, and rock come together. And, in esta casa, we like an honest appreciation of Spanish folklore that doesn’t smell a cerrao but rather translates well into our cultural moment, blended with the set of references of two boys born in Granada in 1998.
They ended their "Roneo Funk Club" tour after releasing their first debut studio album with back-to-back shows at Razzmatazz, in our barri. Before the first show, they dropped by the ESTUDIO and became iniciados by unstitching the seal, trying on our products, letting us bring them into our world, and sharing their impressions with us.
Gospel means truth, but sometimes even the truth can deceive you, as La Plazuela sings por tangos.
