PROLOGUE: GOSPEL ESTUDIOS X CURV® FONTADA
Community was always there. The question was how to build ours. Nature? Sí. Wellness? Obvio. But what form? The answer came at a Curv® event: together
After a few lunches, and a couple of group chats with some back-and-forth, the idea surfaced. A collaborative series. Different events. Different capítulos. All following the drop system of GOSPEL ESTUDIOS. The first chapter is the prologue, called Fontada.
From latin ‘fons‘,‘fontis‘.
FONTADA (noun, m.)
1. "A gathering of people near a fountain to eat and have fun." Catalan Dictionary said it, we lived it.

We started at Valldaura metro. Twenty-four people climbing the hill, mixing old friends with fresh faces. Nobody knew exactly where we were going. Kind of poetic, kind of chaotic. Especially when we got lost. Luckily, that gave our friends at Host more time to prep the massive 8-meter table with food and a tablecloth stitched together, like our garments.
When we finally reached the merendero, jaws dropped. A 19th-century stone table, a private amphitheatre for meditation, and the whole forest to ourselves, where we led the meditation.

Breathing, body scanning, and a bit of silence, broken only by Kata, our over-motivated pacer.

Then came food

Gazpacho, gildas, pita with lamb, cheese with membrillo. Drinks? Water, electrolytes, orange juice.

When the plates were empty, we broke the giant tablecloth into pieces. Each person walked away with one, printed with our SPECS GRAPHIC. A reminder that they were part of this first capítulo.

The walk back was the same, but not really. We came down the hill as a group that had shared something, not just attended something.
