For over 50 years, Dobert has been researching and manufacturing flat weave fabrics in El Vallès, in the outskirts of Barcelona. Besides producing new fabric a short distance from our Estudio, in a renovated industrial colony, Dobert also offers a service for deadstock materials, which is why we partner with them. We purchase high-quality textiles from their previous collections to avoid the need of producing new ones.
The connection between us was facilitated through personal connections: Xavier's son plays football and he participated in Héctor’s football camp. Since Hector had an interest in fashion, he stayed in touch with Xavier. Additionally, Quim from IJ knows Xavier from years back, because he's his father's friend, so, starting the brand, Quim and Héctor realized the mutual connection, we reached out, and began the collaboration.
