PROCESO: DESIGNING THE JARAMAGO
From the start, we knew that we wanted a padded jacket that could double as a liner for the JARRAMPLAS. The plan was to make it a truly dual jacket. All GOSPEL ESTUDIOS tops are reversible because the interior looks good, but we wanted something that, when flipped, becomes a completely different garment: two jackets in one. That’s the JARAMAGO, the best example of our DUAL SISTEMA.
We had already developed the craft jacket, so we had a clear point of reference that simplified things. At first, the JARAMAGO didn’t have pocket flaps—those were added so the two jackets could be annexed.

Another thing it originally didn’t have is probably its most distinctive element: our SÍMBOLO, worked into the pattern on the back.
One day, we just had the idea and decided to test out the logo to see if it’d work. Then, Víctor tested it, and it actually worked. Shoutout Menorca.
The real challenge was scaling the modular feature—adjusting proportions while keeping the same distance between buttons, ensuring the modular aspect functions for every size. Oh, and the elbow pleat—that was challenging too. We really give the SCOOP team a hard time sometimes; they had to make a separate sample just to get that detail right.
