ITEM | TARANTO ORQUÍDEA TANK TOP |
GE ID | TT2401B000000C3 |
PRICE | 75 € |
The Taranto is a tank top. It is relatively cropped, and its wider than usual rib is inspired by the tank tops worn by costaleros throughout Spain. For that extra sólido look. Made from 100% organic cotton, piece-dyed in Orquídea purple.
Sofía is 172 cm and wears her size 3 (TRES) in Valdepeñas when she makes a visit to her grandparents. Horacio, at 168 cm and with cowboy boots, wears a size 3 (TRES) when he trains calisthenics with his senior friends. Santi, with glasses, is 168 cm and likes to wear his size 3 (TRES) when he goes with Danjie to La Cova del Angel, his favorite bar; and Héctor, 178 cm, uses the same size when he's chilling at home with Hanky, his cat. Check out their usual sizes for a better reference. The dimensions of the Taranto, when laid out flat, are:

Taking care of your clothes right starts by washing them when they actually need it, and not just out of habit. Most times, spot cleaning is enough for small stains, and letting them air outside makes them feel fresh again. Ironing your garments properly re-aligns the fibers and makes them last longer, and basic sewing skills can work wonders when something is in need of a repair.

Small SPECS GRAPHIC print centered on the inside of the chest.

The DUAL SISTEMA offers no set way to wear the tank. One can choose whether to hide or reveal the SPECS GRAPHIC, whether to showcase the texture of the cotton from one side or the other.

The Taranto, while not fully cropped, is shorter than the average tank.

Hem finished with double needle cover stitching.

Collar and armholes finished with piping and single topstitching.

As part of the INITIATION SISTEMA, the Taranto is delivered inside out, and sealed with a tack stitch. The garment remains inaccessible until this seal is unstitched. Whatever happens after is in your hands. The scar left by the thread is not a defect but a signature of GOSPEL ESTUDIOS, and an individual trait that changes from one garment to another.

Constructed from 380 gsm organic cotton rib. Assembled and piece-dyed in Orquídea Purple in Portugal.
